Not too much is known about the artist but we believe he is Danish. After doing some research EXLIBRIS is a bookplate that was designed to be stuck into the front cover of a book and your name would replace the words EXLI BRIS . Many book plates were carved into wood then used as a print block on paper and finally stuck into books.
