The Blue Kimono is by Katsushika Hokusai, known simply as Hokusai, he was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. Born in Edo (now Tokyo), Hokusai is best known as author of the woodblock print series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji 1831 which includes the internationally iconic print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
The print measures 154cm x 3m and come unfinished. This is so you can do what you wish, its long enough so it can be trimmed and stitched to size.
You can simply staple it to a wooden banner and hang as a wall hanging, or stitch along the top and make it to a fabulous curtain.
We recommend hand washing and iron on the back of the panel.
