This feature wall was created by using picture frames which have been made in South Africa from reclaimed wood. Using old ship's decking, vintage ceilings and window frames these frames have been lovingly hand crafted by the local community and each frame has it's own unique character.

We have a fabulous selection of these frames with A3, A4 and A5 glass and each frame can be displayed landscape or portrait giving you so many options whether grouped together or displayed on their own.

New Greetings Cards Now In Store

Strange though it may seem, with the vast array of greetings cards on the market today, we struggle to find a collection that is different from the rest and fits in with our design driven products.

These fabulous images are taken from a collection of works by Sarah Bee, a Totnes based contemporary artist, and feature the beautiful landscapes around Devon and Cornwall. Sarah has chosen a selection of her work to produce a range of greetings cards which are now available in store at Doris Brixham and we love them!

We have had a very busy time at Doris clearing the showroom and getting ready for all the gorgeous new stock which is due in very soon. We have been on our travels and sourced lots of new and exciting accessories to compliment our own extensive range of driftwood products.

It's shocking that our last blog was at Easter and we really must do better but thankfully it has been due to a very busy and exciting year that has kept us on our toes and sometimes chasing our tails but NEVER BORING and always smiling :)

We are very lucky to have 2 new team members - actually doubling the personell - and welcome Julie and Sarah to our mad world. We haven't managed to capture them on camera yet but watch this space - or better still come and pay us a visit and say hi in person.

Karen is always sourcing new and exciting products to add to our collection of home interiors and the showroom is brimming with gorgeous items for the home and interesting gifts for the coming festive season.

Everyone loves finding new decorations at Christmas and this year we added a unique collection of hand painted glass Christmas tree decorations which have received lots of admiring comments. We loved them when we saw them and are delighted that you do too.

Where has the time gone. It seems such a short time ago that the builders, plumbers and painters (aka Karen & Dan) were working all hours to get Port Espresso ready to open at the beginning of February and here we are with Easter upon us!

Port Espresso has been buzzing and has received a fabulous reception from both visitors and locals alike. Thank you for all your support and enthusiasm which means so much to Dan and hopefully means we are doing something right. 

Doris at No 10 Union Lane has been awash with new Spring deliveries and we really have been like kiddies in a sweet shop opening all the boxes to see what delights there are.

The trees are now adorned with gorgeous shell baubles and pretty Spring flowers and the beautiful faux foliage and peacock chair in the corner have the essence of an orangery about them.

Something very new to us are urban inspired concrete accessories which, being an innovative designer herself, Karen loves.

The Concrete Pipeline Stem Vase brings the pipelines we see in the streets outside to our living spaces inside.  Decorated with flowers it is effectively bringing together two naturally opposing elements to create a stylish design feature which will certainly be a talking point.

A favourite with our customers is now back in stock. These Robot Lamps are manufactured from plumbing pipework in vibrant colours. Touch any part of the body to adjust the brightness of the bulb.
